I have no information of any cleaning procedures on this work, but the auction in 2006 showed a clean painting with a clear (non oxidated) varnish so it
must have been cleaned to auction, the last image of the painting dates from 2017 and show the painting much more dull and flat, probably it can be a
trick of light or the other possible reason is that it has been over washed loosing many of the main red tones, but I do not have information.
