Notes

This investigation marks the work has not been located in the D’Atri papers.
In Lanthemann text: "Portait of a marvellous color harmonie"
Similar image of the same painting or an almost identical one (with other colors and the mouth closed)
House and garden magazine, 1983 photos from Wright Ludington  Collection.
identicalpaintingwithothercolors

The image in Lanthemann has nothing to do with the image in Bernheim Jeune publication, they must be 2 identical paintings, but the colors and brushwork id not the same:
two paintings?

Published documentation for this file is thin. Catalogue numbers, exhibitions and bibliography are given only where the source recorded them.

This investigation marked several fields as still being checked. The facts above are those already published; where sources disagree, both readings are given.
